Content advisor?

every time I try to look at something on yahoo messenger like messenger 8.0,9.0 and how to download smileys etc. It keeps bringing up this box that says "CONTENT advisor will not allow you to see this website and I keep having to click the x on or cancel..what can I do to remove cont. adv.-do I go to admin..and then what? it always says it will not allow you to change this or that..you do not have permission..or whatever. there has to be something I can do,but I want to be safe from weird people when I chat on yahoo messenger.
