When nitric acid reacts with Mg or Mn hydrogen gas is liberated even though nitri acid is an oxidizing agent.?
when other metals react with nitric acid nitrogen oxide and water are formed and not hydrogen gas becoz it is a good oxidising agent. But when Mn and Mg react with nitric acid hydrogen is liberted why?
