Does this guy like me, or am i over reacting?

I sort of like one of my closest friends (mentally underline sort of) and I recently heard him and my other closest friend talking.... about me? I, being the stockerish person I am, listened in to their conversation. The one friend i SORT OF like, asked my other friend if he was going to ask someone to the upcoming dance (which i wasn't going to at first...) and my other friend says my name. There was a random pause, and my friend laughs nervously. My one friend who i sort of like says, "Your serious?" and guess what my other friend does? He flees. God. The one friend who i sort of like has all of a sudden been ovoiding my other friend and has been 'hanging around' me more. Am I over-reacting, or do my best friends both like me. If you think they do, what should I do? Please answer!!!!
