Draft #1. I call it "Where Has All the Romance Gone?"?

Another vote for secession here. Part I is in the present tense, while Part II is a memory. The rhyming is good. The rhymes are often loose, and the pattern highly variable. But no need to change, they work well. Meter is often irregular, and that IS a problem, because this is a very musical work. I find myself creating a melody while reading it (several times, different melodies).
